A very Breton Netherlands woman!

In Morbihan, towards Hennebont, on the Blavet, live Netherlands on the barge Le Korriganez!

A very respectable lady!

Yes, she is very old, which does not prevent her from having an extremely active retirement!
She was born in 1907 in Hoozegand, the Netherlands, and for just over 70 years she worked hard in the field of freight transport between Germany and the Netherlands.

From its birth, it displays unusual characteristics, since it can easily pass from navigation in fresh water, along rivers and canals, to the whims of the sea on which its 18-metre mast allows it to sail (mast that lies down to pass under bridges!).

An active and friendly retreat....

Nowadays, it no longer transports freight: it has become the property of "Au fil de l'eau", and its pleasure is now to please!
It is possible to rent it as a particularly unusual cottage, to ask it to sail peacefully for a day or a weekend... it is also a great success during the maritime festivals in which, of course, it participates!

You can take a little trip aboard (under a typical Breton rain!) with this report from France 3 Bretagne.
