In Sologne, the deer has its home...

If there is one region in France where deer are at home, it is the Sologne, and it was therefore quite justified to dedicate a house to them!

Let's visit a little...

This pretty two-storey house has 150 m² of exhibition space and a video room.

And yes, just because you're a deer doesn't mean you're not modern! It is I, with my 13 horns, who welcome you to the ground floor and talk to you about my life in the deep forests.

By visiting my house, you will discover all my secrets, and all the tales and legends that circulate about me.

You will also know about my love life, and its very sonorous manifestations that you humans call the "shout", about births, about the growth and fall of my woods... and you will even learn how old I am, simply by examining my footprints!

And then, in my video room, I'll show you a film, just to help you remember, through the picture.

Don't get lost!

The town of Villeny, where my house is located, has many communal paths thanks to which you can walk in the forest, and, who knows, with a little luck, meet me!

But, poor humans, your sense of smell, your eyes, your ears are so deficient that you can easily get lost. Also, in the house, we will give brochures that will compensate a little for your lack of natural ability... compared to me, of course!
