Escape games at the castle

Classic visit or unusual visit?

You can visit the castle of La Ferté Saint Aubin in the classic way. With a nice paper tour guide in hand, you can walk through the whole castle from the cellar to the attic, passing through fifteen or so superb, decorated rooms.

And then there is a slightly less traditional way of visiting, by taking part in scripted activities yourself. For example, you will find yourself leading the investigation, questioning suspects during a "Murder in the Castle". You can also follow the "Poison Trail", a mysterious route through the immense park, during which you must succeed in making your own poison in order to eliminate your rivals within a given time...

And finally, there is a totally unusual way to visit the castle of La Ferté Saint Aubin, by taking part in one of the three "escape games" on offer...

Three authentic "escape games"...

Why authentic?

Because they take place in real historical settings, and according to events that are part of the history of the castle and its surroundings.

Thus, with "The Mystery Room", you will find yourself plunged into the heart of the famous affair of the Queen's necklace, with "The Governess' Room", the castle being in the hands of the Prussians, you will have to enter it to find a forgotten treasure, and finally, with "The Cellars", you will be part of a group of Resistance fighters locked up in the castle's gaols in June 1944, and you will begin your own adventure locked up in a cell!

The porcelain dolls, and...

When you've recovered from your emotions, take a leisurely stroll through the attic of the orangery, to admire an exceptional collection of porcelain dolls and old toys, or the saddlery, where you'll find an equally exceptional collection of harnesses!
