Meneham, from thatched cottages to rocks

There, you will feel at the end of the world, strolling in this tiny village, which scatters its cottages among the rocks.

Indeed, it is nestled behind gigantic blocks of stone, with tormented shapes, which contrast with the softness of thatched roofs witnessing a charm of yesteryear.

In the heart of the village, in the former customs barracks, you will visit a whole series of craftsmen's workshops.

And, as you walk along, you will discover the lives of its former inhabitants, hard-working peasants, fishermen and gulf fishermen

Among the grassy dunes, you will discover the Pol chapel, set in the rocks, and, not far away, a stone bungalow, obviously ordered by Vauban, still him, keeps a vigilant watch against the English incursions!

In the surroundings, stroll a little on the pretty fine sandy beach of Brignogan, or on the small port of the Pointe de Pontsuval, unless you prefer the DR34 path which uses the customs officers' path, and allows you to go from small creek to small creek, marked by stone blocks that recall animal figures.

In short, a beautiful peaceful day... and iodized!
