In 2017, they decided to break their piggy bank, and to create a dental office like no other.

But we'll see that it's the fact that it's unusual that is itself very unusual, and that's a shame. It should even become quite commonplace!
This innovative practice is intended for those who have been more or less dented by life, with the consequences of a handicap, an illness, or age. When you are in a wheelchair, or if you have Down's syndrome, or autism, for example, good luck finding someone who will take care of the dental problems you may have, like everyone else.
Well, that's what this practice is all about.
It is located in Trélazé, near Angers, and... it is unique in France.
And its two creators wish only one thing: that other dentists, in other cities, follow their example, and that their own practice becomes... fortunately very common!

When you enter this dental office for the first time, you are immediately struck by an atmosphere, a decor, completely different from the cold and impersonal environments you might expect!
There are explosions of colors, lively frescoes, black and white photos of some of the beneficiaries of this unique place, and who do not try, more or less hypocritically, to hide what life has done to them, but who express a furious joy of living.
It is a true empathy, because, as one of the founders expressed it, what to do in certain difficult situations cannot be learned... it has to be lived!
And it is probably this real empathy, this thoughtful interest, that led, in July 2022, to the integration of a very unusual care companion into the team: a super dog!
It is a Cavalier King Charles, a real cuddly toy, whose very important role is to reassure, distract, console and cuddle.
His name is "Toubib", of course!
