Thus the "Friends of the Forges de la Hunaudière"...
They are active, every year, for example, for the Country Market of La Hunaudière, allowing each visitor to leave with a full basket of food, and what food! "Delicatessen from the Bel Air farm, rabbit or canned snack rabbits, bread baked on the wood fire of the Ferme du Rozay d'Essé with Fagots et Froments, organic vegetables from Fabienne Simoneau de Ruffigné, without forgetting the honey of Jean Louis Gaudin de Puceul, the jams of the Moulin de Chère du Grand Fougeray and the salt of Cahan and, to accompany the whole, the nutmeg of the Chateau de la Cour du Landreau or the cider or apple juice of Nelly and Jean Yves Cherhal ".

Sion les Mines: "the art of Foundry", unique in France
It is indeed a unique event in France, held on the site of the forge workshop.
You will experience the atmosphere of a foundry, and you will be able to discover the history and technique of sand casting.
After the essential technical explanations, the members of the association will take you to discover the industrial history of the site, and the lives of those who worked there. Back in the workshop, it will be the casting of the molten metal in the molds, and a part will be "unchecked" in front of you.
A cooler activity, perhaps?
If you have caught hot in the foundry's workshop, you will probably enjoy a little ride to the mill of the Godalin Bridge managed by, we would have guessed..." The Association for the Protection of the Mill of the Godalin Bridge".
This water mill comes from the Middle Ages and, set on the banks of the river Chère, it forms a bucolic, quiet picture...
Try to visit it around the third Sunday in June, it's the national mill festival! You can also visit it every Tuesday morning in July and August, as well as on some Sundays. Ask around!
