Mint tea in the middle of Berry !

A history in the History

The history of NANA1807, the first house of Mint Tea, is intimately linked to History, with a capital letter, that which united, then disunited, Morocco and France.
In the 1950s, Hajj Brahim Ibn Cherkaoui lived through the period of the French protectorate in Morocco until independence was proclaimed in 1956, when he became a subject of the King.
At that time, there were recruiting agents mandated by the French government, who offered work in France to Moroccans. That's how Brahim arrived in Berry, which was then undergoing reconstruction, and therefore in great demand for skilled labor in the construction industry.
And for his first official document, the registrar, considering that there were already many Cherkaoui among the Moroccans arriving under the Franco-Moroccan convention of 1963, registered Brahim En Nana, the words "En Nana" meaning "mint" in Arabic!
A few years later, he settled in a village in the Champagne Berrichonne region, Rosières, the world capital of cooks of the same name.
His fifth child, Zakaria, a great traveler, told his mother, whom he called Mouima, that his mint tea was so delicious that he would sell it all over the world... it's done, In Shaa'Allah, as they say in Berry!

It's done, with NANA1807, the first French mint tea company, a company with strong societal and ecological commitments, which lives by its values, excellence, integrity, citizenship, responsibility, safety...

Mint Teas - 100% Natural & Organic

I am certainly not going to start describing the exceptional Mint Teas that the company offers, teas that are sunny, natural and surprising experiences. And all the more so since these descriptions are very detailed on the company's website. What I can recommend is a very unusual visit, to discover these extraordinary blends and compositions, to meet the family... and to taste MOUIMA - the first Moroccan-Berrichon Mint Tea, in the heart of Berry!
