Poetically subversive, the Musée Rigolo

A museum which is not a museum, but which is amusingly funny...

How can I put it... when we talk about a museum, we have the image of a place where old things are carefully preserved, and which do not necessarily inspire the most outright hilarity. In fact, that's not the point.

The Little Fun Museum does not correspond to this definition, nor to this spirit. It's true that there are things (it's hard to find a more precise word) that are exhibited.

But these things themselves are not presented for what they are, like a painting, a Sèvres vase, the witness of a know-how or an era, but for what they carry, an idea, a diversion, a wink, a zest of poetry, an arrow of humour that stings!

Nor is the whole thing frozen in the past, as is natural in a traditional museum. On the contrary, every Sunday a new 'thing' appears! You can follow this on the museum's website or on its Facebook page.

How can you describe it from here? It's impossible!

So I invite you to get an idea with the few photos that accompany this article, and to urge you to make this poetic, humorous, slightly anarchic, sympathetically ironic diversions...
